Cobra Guzzler

The Whaler Loves Detail City
Used this for the first time today also. Very impressive towel. Soaked the water right up. I like the sewn edges. I use/d the blot method. The water seemed to be attracted to the towel. The towel is one of the softest that I have used.A very good towel. For those that need a drying towel or want to try a different style go Cobra.

I took advantage of the free shipping @ pinnacle. I too love the GUZZLER. the softest and most absorbant towel out there.

I just got the guzzler and tried it too. I thought it wasnt working very well at first because after going over areas it still had some water on the paint that didnt evaporate like I am used to seeing with what I used before. The towel certainly holds a lot of water and the edges are nice like you said. The car ended up just fine at the end despite my concerns. This was the first time I have dried with an MF towel (im really new at this),.....so maybe I didnt know what to expect.

What is the blot method?

Instead of wiping or dragging your towel across the paint you place the towel on the surfaces and lift it up after the towel has soaked up the water and move the towel to another area where it is wet.

I find waffle weaves work best after they have gotten a little wet. They seem to absorb better as they get wet. Also I lay the towel down pat the area with my hand then lightly pull the towel with just the weight of the towel on the car no pressure and this works best for me.

IMO it is always better to wash any MF before using.

I have Steve's at PB WW and I also agree as they get a bit wet they grab better...I just squeeze them every so often they work like a charm

I have the older Autogeek waffle weave. It's purple and works well. Is the new Guzzler much better? Any body have both and can compare?

i used meguires water magnet the other day dry not wet to dab up some wet spots and it left some marring on the hood. when you guys use the ww do you use the blower first to remove the water.

i also have one of these green cobra waffle weaves (ordered from pinnacle), and it's probably the best waffle weave i have. no complaints here... :)
