Coating for side panels that resist tar?

hi guys,

just came back to the forum after a very long vacation. i was looking for a simple LSP to put on my doors that would make tar clean up easier?

any suggestions?

i was hoping there some easy wipe on coating, that was resistant to tar. that would last 3 months?

With any of the coatings I've used you'll still need to use a Tar remover like Tarminator or TarX to get it off. The only difference is that the coating will still be intact, unlike a wax or sealant, which will be removed or diminished by the tar remover.

Tar usually wipes off FK1000P for me, and when it won't I can "clay the LSP clean" if I'm *VERY* gentle about it (I use Sonus SFX clay with Glyde lube).

I haven't used a Tar Remover for so long I can't remember when it was...
