How can you tell if a wheel is coated, or clearcoated, or uncoated? The reason i ask is because i want to buy some poorboy's Spray and Rinse wheel cleaner and I don't want the stuff to damage the wheels.

Oh ok so if they are painted the Spray Rinse is safe on them?
That's probably a dumb post but i was jw because everyone says you can never be too careful with acid based wheel cleaners. I've heard nothing but good things about the product but some people say stick to non acid wheel gels. Thanks for the info!
that really depends on the condition of the wheels, and how hard they are to maintain ...a well maintained wheel that has a protectant like wheel sealant and doesn't have a lot of hard to reach places, should never need a strong product, but some wheels are not well maintained and have hard to reach areas like some BMW wheels, and for them this product makes their life much easier![]()
