:rolleyes: give me a break, the thread was was started with offering samples of product and thats it , totaly innocent until a couple of others took the thread in another direction. i've been here a couple months and spent a lotta of money with the sponsors on this site.

and i only mentioned it because i bought some wax from another member from DC registered elsewhere on another forum that i am not a member of. i'm registered here and here only and loyal to Dwayne and the sponsors here .

and i also decided not to post any links anymore, it's not fair to the people who gave birth to this site.

If you want to make deals off the public forums, then that is your business. If you want to do it through email or something then go for it. DC will not support or endorse intramember trading though. There are too many problems with it.
 
Fuzz you know i'm new here i had no idea about the trading that went in the past, it wasn't meant to be an open market just asking a question thats all.

P.S. can you please remove the sunglasse's they make me nervous lol.
 
Joe ..I'm not exactly sure what your point is. Dwayne's policy is not to have a trading forum as when there was one people started selling samples and there were some people who had bought larger than they needed sizes and were making profit by breaking it into small ones...there were also a few occasions where a deal went bad and it turned into a whining and complaining post.
Dwayne being the owner decided it was best for him if that was left to a-bay or other forums to deal with if I remember correctly :flowers:

the piont was to be able to use products without having more than you need.the thread mentions trading samples not to purchase them. Example i have a brand new megs rotary handle i bought thinking i might use it, well i havn't someone might want it and have a couple ounces of product i could use. the first posters in the other thread new what i meant it was the last couple who took it in the wrong direction. please don't confuse me with wolfguy.

Good idea. I don't know how Dwayne will feel about it... but I guess if it's up to a vote then we'll see. ;)

Anyway.... the point has been made. DC doesn't have and probably won't bring back any kind of buy/sell/trade forum. If you want to sell or trade then you need to do it off the public boards.

by the way... having a thread locked isn't directed as a negative to anyone who posted in it. It's just a way of making a point that a point has been made. There isn't any more discussion that needs to be had on this particular topic at this time. maybe that will change when I am mayor.... ;)
