Hi.

I put Clearkote Red Moose Machine Glaze on the clean paint, then tried to top it with Zaino CS, but I ran into problems... lots and lots of oily residues/lsp holograms all over the car.

So, does anyone see a problem about these two products working together, or did I just put too much of something. It was my first time with the CS.

Because of the oils associated with RMG a sealant is not a good idea. Danase Wet Glaze is one of the few glazes that are sealant friendly.

Hmm!

Firstly; you certantly can you use glazes with sealants, you just need to put the right glaze with the right sealant. Some are incompatible, most are not.

You can apply a glaze under Z5 and Z2 aslong its polymer based, DWG or CG EZ Glaze for example, there are a fair few CnB's and posts on by myself and others.

Z-CS is very much like OptiSeal from Optimum. I have Optiseal over RMG and longivity doesnt seem to be effective. LIke wise you can apply Optiseal over a Nuba wax and it works fine, and indeed Optimum even say this si fine. I would suspect that Z-CS over RMG would work.

If you have purchased both products try it! If you havent then you can assured that Z-CS should work over a polymer glaze with out any problems.

DWG is the way to go

You should be able to ZCS the vehicle, then put RMG on top and then a Carnuba to lock it in, right guys???

Of course you can use sealants with oily bases/glazes :nixweiss

wannafbody: How do you mean wont work well? To what degree? For most part i was under the impression this was Optiseal more or less which works over RMG? ANd also nuba!?
