First up is the Vectra. It was in good condition from AIO/WG, but I wanted to try out this combo on it.

It had:

Zymol Wash

Menzerna Powergloss followed by Menzerna IP on some quite bad looking scratches on the passenger front wing.

Menzerna PO85RD all over

Clearkote VM

Clearkote RMG

Clearkote YCW

Poorboy's EX x 1

Natty's Blue paste wax x 1

Wheels got a coating of Collinite 845 Insulator Wax.

My baby's also been given:

Clearkote combo of VM/RMG/YCW

Poorboy's EX x 2

Poorboy's Natty's Blue x 2 spit shined with Megs FD

Here's after the EX x 2

I really like what the new EX and Natty's Blue did for the gloss and depth of the paint, on top of the look of the Clearkote products. All in all, a really nice combination that I think I'll keep going back to.

:bow Both cars look incredibly wet and deep! I really like that last shot of your car, shows off the paint and it artistic as well!

thanks Scott. I was going to top the EX with souveran, but went with the Natty's, as I liked what it did with the Vectra.

The last shot is about 5 minutes from home. It's where I go to relax. Just happened to have my camera with me.

Cars look great. Not trying to be a pessimist, but isn't VM, RMG and Yellow Cream somewhat redundant? Seems like a lot of steps for very little reward. I've used VM and RMG and both leave such a nice finish that I go straight to my LSP. I haven't given the Yellow Cream a shot yet, but will probably do that soon.:)

Great job Paul on those 2 cars. Incredible depth of shine.

I too am a big fan of Clearkote products.

Plus...gorgeous country side. I wish I had a place like that to escape to.

Keep up the good work.

94BlkStang,

I don't know, they may be redundant. Guess I'll just have to try the combo without the EX, or without the clearkote combo, and see if there's a difference. It's all fun. I think you've given me the excuse to start again lol

Dr Groove, many thanks for the kind words.

Looking good Paul :)

The vectra got the works I see, I think every polish you used on it is considered to be "elite". I agree with Scott on your last shot, awesome background :xyxthumbs

You definitely have more energy than I do, but I love your enthusiasm. I guess my point was that I didn't make very well is that it seems that VM, RMG and YCW are all basically glazes and that the car would take on the characteristics of the final glaze used as opposed to getting a benefit of each one. The RMG would change the look of VM and the VM would change the look of YCW possibly etc. so the results could vary by the order they are put on. The EX being an LSP probably shouldn't change anything. I would be curious to see what your opinion would be if you just used one of the CK products and then topped with EX. I was going to experiment one of these days and do a section of the hood with each of the three CK products topped by the same LSP and see how they compare on both light and dark colored cars. I've been real happy with VM and the RMG as they have been some of my favorite prodcuts. Happy detailing and keep posting your results. The cars are looking great.:xyxthumbs

Both cars look great Paul. How do you feel the Blue Natty's compares to say Souveran or CMW?

As much as its seem as overkill I still am doing VM, RMG and YCW on my own car.

The VM has what appears to be more cleaning the power by hand, the RMG adds to the wetness. The YCW is the icing on the cake and just finishes the deep wet deep look.
