clear coat on porsche wheels

Mornin gents,Have a customer with a 1985 Porsche that has sort of clear coat/sealant on the original wheels and it has discoloured and it very thin in places .What i need to know is how can i safely remove the coating without damaging the mag surface of the wheel??

Aircraft Stripper :bigups



Lordco/Autozone should know what you need, just tell em you need aircraft stripper... its really nasty stuff, wear a mask and gloves, and do NOT get it on your skin!



But it is aluminum safe, won't damage the surface at all... Just makes the clearcoat bubble and fall off.
 
I Did Mine With Jasper Airplane Stripper.brush It On,let Sit For 5-15 Min. Hose Off.you May Have To Do Them A Few Times.well Worth It As Long As You Are Going To Do The Up Keep.bought It At Pep Boys For Around $8.
