cleaning: Vinylex vs NXT Tech Protect

Test surface: '92 MB-Tex (driver's seat seat pan and back rest surface. Vacuumed and dressed about six weeks ago.)



Applicator: white microfiber towel



I rubbed a spot with NXT Tech Protect. The towel remained white.

I rubbed another spot with Vinylex. The towel became brown.

I rubbed the spot that had been just rubbed with NXT Tech Protect with Vinylex. The towel became brown.
 
Most protectants aren't really made for cleaning. If you want to do some real cleaning, use something like diluted woolite or apc- it will work much better.
