Jun 29, 2004 #3 S shaf New member It's "orange peel", just like the fruit, not "peal". Do a search or "titles only" search for orange peel, as this paint effect has been discussed quite a bit. Here is a picture of orange peel from a quick Google search: http://www.vintagebus.com/howto/paint/orange-peel-1.jpg It's the orange peel-like paint texture that results from poor painting at the factory. Harmless, but it doesn't look good.
