What is everyones method for cleaning the inside of rims? I have a few brushes that I use, but I am always open for new ideas! No WHEEL ACIDS!!!

Thanks!

I use P21S with a stiff sponge, or #0000 steel wool on really bad ones. I've only cleaned the insides of two sets of wheels, but those methods worked well for me.

I use some soft paint brushes with either Autoglym or Sonax. In severe cases I would use brake cleaner and rinse followed by something like the Sonax. To my mind the trick is to give them time to dwell before removing

Do a search on the "EZ Brush" (or maybe "E-Z Motorcycle Brush"). When I first got mine I considered it too coarse for the finish on my wheels, but I've used it on the minivan and my wife's car without any problems. I believe it was ScottWax or Anthony O. who first mentioned it, saying he uses it on his customers' cars.

Heh heh, I'm still not using it on the S8 though, with that one I just poke something nice and soft through the spokes.

These are for when you're not taking the wheels off to do it "right"....
