Cleaning suggestions for glossy samsung LCD?

Any cleaning suggestions for a newish 40" samsung LCD with the gloss (coated I think) screen?

I'm thinking maybe just distilled water or alcohol and a plush microfiber. I looked for suggestions on AVS Forum where I normally go for my LCD buying advice but they had horrid suggestions. Walmart microfiber and rags! After my autopia enlightenment that just makes me cringe.

One thing I did find out is that the screen is more of a plastic than a glass product. And that ammonia can cause clouding of the screen and/or plastic frame. Stoners and ONR pops into my head but I think I might be too chicken to try.

for sensitive clear plastics/screens, etc, i use a eurow shag towel with fk425...

Really? Sounds like that leaves behind some sort of wax. You're not concerned about that?

Meguiars Quik Interior Detailer is recommended to be used on any LCD screens.

I've used it extensively on indoor plasma screens, in-car multipurpose display screens and the LCD screens on camcorders.

Beautiful stuff!!!!! The current MQID has improved cleaning action, and it's one of my favourite Meguiars products.

there hasn't been any problems IME. also IG with the shag towel works well too...

Windex and an MF. Use it every week on my notebook (have been for years now) and have never had an issue.

This could be disastrous, the ammonia in the windex can cloud plastics. Samsung tv's have plastic borders and their screens are more of a plastic material than glass.
