I have been told that ammonia is great for deep cleaning raw (non-coated) aluminum suspension components and brake calipers.
Has anyone used this method?
Results?
Any adverse effects?
Any OTC products that will serve the same purpose? I have tried wheel cleaners (including aluminum wheel cleaners) but not been able to get the "deep" cleansing I am looking for.
