Cleaning OXO duster

I recently posted a question as to where I could buy an OXO car duster only to find out that the product was discontinued. I did buy a California Car duster but it is flimsy in comparison. So my questions are: Is it possible to wash the old OXO duster, what to use and how do you do it?

Wash it in a bucket with warm water and oxi clean.
