cleaning foam pads for PC

DEEEETROIT BASKETBALL
I have a bunch of PC pads that I would like to clean but what is the process to cleaning them. One way was for me to put it on the rotary and clean them off with a brush, while that seemed to take off the residual I would still get small specs of dust on the car when I use it to detail with my PC. What I am afraid of is that those little tiny dust balls are or may be creating little microscratches on the surface of the vehicle. What should I do? :dunno Any input would be greatly appricated

Everytime I use a pad, I spray with diluted APC (brush it in if needed) and rinse with the hose, then dry. Some do not recommend washing pads but I'd rather not have dust/dirt in them.

What would be the best way to clean the Edge 2000 dual sided pads for the PC? Do you really spray them with diluted APC? If so which APC do you recommend for them? I was thinking that letting them soak in warm water would do the trick.

One more thing, should I spray some water or something on my Edge pads when I am getting ready to use them, will they work better if they are slightly damp? Thanks in advance.

I clean the E2K pads the same way (APC+ 10:1). It does not seem to cause a problem. Just plain water might work, I like to try to get them as clean as possible though.

You can clean up those Edge pads with plain old dish soap and hot water. Some people spary pads with a QD product or H2O. :bigups

Hi Temp Prep Wash solution and some aggitation = easy clean! Always clean pads after a detail. Its fast as heck
