cleaning dirty seats

I just picked up a pair of car seats that I want to use in the house with my racing simulator cockpit.

I'm wondering what would be the best way to clean it. It has been sitting outside in the rain yesterday when I picked it up. It's in pretty decent condition but I'm not sure what products I should be using to clean the seats or the how to.

I could use help on this too...I have a 15 year old car with 200K miles on it and the seats (cloth) could use some new life.

If the seats are cloth you need an extractor or wet vac at a push.

If leather some kind of leather cleaner and a soft brush or at a push very mild hand soap like Dove, then a conditioner.

Folex here as well on tough stains then APC on cloth. Let dwell, agitate w/ a fine brush and rub w/ a white terry cloth towel. Then use hot water in a BLGM and removing as much moisture as possible followed by a wet/dry vac. I then finish by moving air w/ as many fans in the interior as is necessary.

The first question is how wet are they from sitting in the rain? Since the seats are already off I would just take the material covers off and throw them in the washer for a few rounds Be wary the first couple of rinses will more than likely be pretty black water. And the dry out the foam cores. It would make for much cleaner seats and less hassle than trying to deal with damp foam and mold possibilities from improper drying.

Since they're not in a car, a pressure washer will work if they're really dirty, assuming they're cloth.
