Cleaning between washings

OK, I spent several hours last Sunday washing my truck. No polishing or anything as it had been done right before I bought it about 3 weeks ago, so the finish is still good. I washed and dried it good, then used meg's QD on it, and it looks great. The problem is, 2 days later, it is covered in a layer of dust, and being a black truck, it really stands out. They are building a condo complex the next block over and I suspect they are kicking up a ton of gunk. As much as I'd like to, I don't have the time to wash it every few days. Is there anything out there that would be safe to do a quick wipe down?

On a side note, it was the first time I've used the 2 bucket method, and I couldn't believe how dirty the rinse water got. I had to change it twice. Then I couldn't believe all of the times I've put all that dirt right back onto my old car. Makes me cringe.

Depends how gritty it is , if its just dusty a clifornia car duster works great or just continue qd-ing it.

A california duster and a 55 gallon drum of S & Wf or maitenance. Why 55gallons because after you use it,you'll love and it could be used on just about everything..

lol
While I agree with Joe about your liking the Spray & Wipe, you might want to start with a gallon and see how it works for you. You can buy an even smaller quantity, but you will be a gallon buyer sooner or later.:)
If you have any doubts, just do a search for Spray & Wipe. You will find lots of info about a great product.
I was a real skeptic about any waterless wash product until I tried this stuff.
It works!

I will also agree regarding Spray and Wipe. This stuff rocks! I use a car cover and when I get home I use the Spray and Wipe before putting the cover on. It does not take very long and I don't want any dirt between the Elco and the car cover.

I agree for daily dusting i would use the California Car Duster make sure you buy the Original not a knock off.. Just make sure before you use it you follow the instructions on it. They are key to it working and giving it a long life. I own a few of them. And as the others have also suggested a good QD and some MF is a must.

Feel lucky. Here in Houston, I'm fighting construction dust and pollen. The Envoy was covered in pollen about an hour after I quick detailed it. :(

oh stop complaining..you could be under 5 feet of snow :stick :D

Charles I remember your first gallon:)

I will also agree with the California Car Duster followed with Spray & Wipe. Works out well for light dusting in my case.

i have a question. can't you dust off your car with a microfiber towel?

NO not a MF by itself. Secondly you could do it with a MF and some QD or S&W but it would depend on how heavy the dust was.
