Cleaning between cab and bed

I'm doing a one-step on a '99 Chevy S10 pickup for a dealer on Wednesday. The truck sat for a while under trees and sap dripped all over it. They cleaned it up pretty well but there is still old sap between the cab and bed of the truck. It's pretty nasty between there and not much space to get a brush in there. Any tips to make this as easy as possible?

Well my solution was to shove a grout sponge in there and push it around with a broomstick for about 10 minutes while spraying degreaser on it, worked very well.

I have a "between the bed" mit at my shop. It's on a stick and has a washmit on it, and it feels like it has a balloon or something inside it. It works awesome.

Spray some Tarminator down there to remove/dissolve the sap and then rig up something (MF towel) on a stick.

I ran into a nice solution for between the bed & cab when I was shopping for a squeegee for home windows. I went to a janitorial supply because the usual sources had crap. Right with the squeegees was a tool window washers use to clean glass... about 12 inches wide, padded and covered in short, dreadlocked MF. Screws on to a broom handle. I now have one and still have no idea what it's called! Kinda looks like this rascal.

After I used it to give the truck it's annual between the bed n cab cleaning I cleaned up this tool and let it dry thoroughly. Then I lightly misted it with Opti Seal and applied. Seems to stay clean in there now and a blast of water sheets right off. YMMV.
