cleaning alcantra

So how do you clean alcantra? Can it be protected with fabric protectant?

Use Woolite for Darks on the Alcantra, diluted to weakest ratio on the bottle. Mist a damp cloth with the woolite mixture and "blot" the seats. Vacuum and let air dry. Brush lightly when dry.

I wouln't put anything esle on it.

I've used the same procedure on a steering wheel and it came out like new.

I've also used a shark steamer on spot stains- that worked too.
