Cleaned Engine on the Daily (GTP)

It wasn't all that dirty, mostly just a little dust and some road splash.

The only products I used on this engine bay were an APC & ArmorAll Tire Foam.

I cleaned the alternator and supercharger with APC (50/50 water), and wiped dry.

Everything else in the engine bay got saturated with AA TireFoam.

Let soak in for 5 minutes, then wipe off and done.... Underhood pad also got cleaned with TireFoam.

As you can see, nothing is wet, greasy or sticky.

Yes, that's the factory Eaton Series V supercharger. Pontiac started using them in the GTP's and Bonneville SSEi's in 1997.

1200 degree alumunium header paint. Looks as good as it did the day I painted it 9 months ago!

Bill, how did you do the hood pad with the AA tire foam? Did you just spray on and let dry or did you work it a little with a pad or sponge. Let me know and I will give that a try on my wifes Suburban.
