Clean your carpets like a pro

Hey, this Scrubbing Bubbles stuff stuff must be the real deal.
I'm sure I once read about someone that used it to clean their engine compartment. Now I find that it can also clean my carpet. Gonna have to check that stuff out. :D

Hey Jay, How come you didn't post this in the carpet care section? It's not going to be as helpful here.:crazy2:

Did no one notice how he had that nasty rag on the hood of the car. Nasty. I would even use that to clean up and oil spill.

I just may link the guys whole series.
he also has wheel cleaning where he says you don't need expensive wheel cleaner just use a degreaser and then spray w/ AA. His "how to" for dash cleaning where you just spray the AA and wipe it in...tons of excellent stuff.:rofl:rofl

P.S.
I forget to mention his tip for vacuuming the carpets... Remove the mats:rofl

That rag was nasty.. but don't fear he has the stuff in the "blue bottle" that you can pick at the local auto parts store that I'm sure will fix that right up
To think that he is prepping that Beemer to be put on a lot.
Well the guy is from Austin TX, so maybe 1 or 2 of our Texas members can pick up some work after this guy gets done selling things off his lot.:D

We need a section called what not to do...

And then post the actual way you should do it...isn't scrubbing bubbles for bathroom applications?

What I do, is if I have a real dirty carpet, is I get some more dirt and rub it into the areas that are clean, that way the whole carpet is the same way and people will just believe thats the color.

I will have to stop using the brush attachments on my PC. I guess they will have to be relegated to buffing the car only.

Add its original use.....in the crapper, and you'll need little else!:bigups

First off, I have never used "Scrubbing Bubbles" and I'm sure not promoting the product.

Now, go to a few detailing forums and do a search for "Scrubbing Bubbles". You might be surprised how many do use the product on vehicles.
I just checked three different forums and it came up more than once on all three.

Actually I have used it for many other uses than it is advertised for and it works quite well. There may have been a little gem of information in that fella's "dirty rag" rug cleaning regimen.

Go to youtube.com and search "Auto Detailing". There are many detailing videos on youtube that are just as entertaining.

I saw this one a few months ago, and his wheel cleaning technique is classic.

So many haters quick to add their 2 cents without even trying it. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn't but how can you judge this guy for using something household on his car. I'm sure everyone here has at one point. i know i have.
