Claying, before and after

Top half is clayed, bottom half isn't. I went over many of the spots again on the top (there's a few spots left in the pic, just wanted to show the comparo). This was done on a brand new 2 day old 2005 Ford Excursion.

A good reason why new cars need to be clayed. Is that rail dust or other shipping related contamination?

Rail dust...I'm just hearing now that it's very common with Fords, and there is a TSB out. Gonna give the dealer a call tomorrow, because if the paint needs a 3 step wash, they're gonna do it!
