Claying and Clear Bra Scuffing

When you have a clear bra that has been scuffed what are you using to get rid of these scuff marks? I've tried Z-PC, 2 3M polishes (don't remember the #s), Zaino Plastic polish, Menzerna IP, Menzerna Power Gloss and none of them will touch it.

Also, do you guys clay over a clear bra and if so have you noticed any scuffing problems? I have clear covering the entire hood, front end, and fenders and already have a few scuff marks and don't want to add any more!

Thanks!

I use a fine clay on the film, and have polished with P085RD with great results. Nothing harsher (i.e. IP), though...so I'm guessing the marks you've got aren't repairable? Actually, I'm surprised the PG didn't do any damage.

The PG was my last resort and I was hesitant to use it. I did not get very aggressive with it but it still did not touch the marks and didn't harm the clear either:nixweiss

Just curious, but how are you applying? I just detailed my truck last week. The film had a bit of scuffing and hazing. I used 85RD w/ a 4" white LC pad on the PC., with terrific results.

I did not use the PC; just by hand with a microfiber polishing cloth. What I am talking about is not general hazing or scuffing but rather spot issues like if you took your fingernail and drug it across the clear. I've seen this if not being careful removing bird poo or scrubbing one spot too hard. :hairpull I will try and take a picture and post it so it's easier to see what i'm talking about.
