Clay Question

Wash once to remove the surface dirt that can scratch , rinse & then wash again leaving soap on car ( out of sun ) and clay keeping a spray bottle with heavily concentrated car wash soap + water .

If you are doing it in heat and sun , then yes wash , rinse and dry 1st , then use the clay bar and your quick detailer lube with it

I clay when I rinse.....well, after I rinse the suds off and there still beading water. An occasional dip in the sudsy water helps too...

Just make sure the surface is ready. should be free of dust and debris. Theres no cure time or drying time with clay, clay on, wipe off.....AIO, or any other decent polish will ready the surface for your protectant.

after claying to apply the Klasse twins, UNLESS you want/need to polish the paint. (Also, this assumes the car paint is dry and cool to the touch). If your paint is relatively in good condition, then you can go directly (immediately) to applying Klasse.

So, you mainly use just plain water to clay without the soap? There's enough lubrication doing it that way huh? I never tried it that way before.

If I plan on claying I first fill my wash bucket with car wash soap and water and fill a spray bottle at that concentration. I then wash as usual and rinse. I'll then use the soapy spray bottle to drench the panel as I clay. I found that I'll use 3x more soapy water than when I used to do this with a quick detailer, never have a problem with scratching. I rinse as I go, the entire car pretty much stays wet the whole time. Make sure you knead the clay much more often than you think you need.
