Recently I've been using clay magic fine grade clay and chemical guys lube for claying. When I clayed my GTO, I used the clay magic for about a quarter of the car and switched to some Meguiars clay that I had leftover, still brand new in the package. I honestly felt the Meguiars did such a better job, it cleaned and prepped the paint so much better. Has anyone else experienced this ???

Yeah, there is no doubt that certain people will find some products easier to work with, as a matter of preference or tehnique. Most clay here in the US is made by the same company but it still can differ slighly depending on who its formulated for.



Personally, I like the Mothers clay best.

I actually prefer clay magic blue vs meguiars fine. The meguiars is too stiff and not sticky enough.
