Clay bar help

Well this is the first time i have used a clay bar and have a few quesstions. first of how much lubricant should i use i am using megs #34fi. should it catch some or be totally slippery. next question when using a clay bar on the windows to remove water spots is it okay to use #34fi on the windshield if not what should i use i am in the process of doing my truck now so any help would be great thanks.

You can use the clay on the windows no problem try to stay away from the rubber the clay picks up the black in it. Fro removing water spots on windows you can also use white wine vinegar. I do this at the wash stage, pour some on a rag wipe window then wash with soapy water and rinse


The clay should slip over the paint with ease not grabbing at all. Also nead the clay as you go this way you are working a newer area. I do a panel at a time then wipe off and start another. The results from clay are great
