circular polishers

i currently use a porter cable for my 3 vehicles at home and am a novice to detailing however have the fundamentals down. i'd be interested in more info on the circular polishers and wanted advice if its worth getting a circular or would it not be worth the risk and just leave it to the pros?



since i'm relatively new to this, should i stick with the porter cable or should i try the circular polisher? is the risk of damaging paint there or do you have to be a moron to screw up? have you ever damaged paint with it? is their a tremendous positive difference in results with the circular compared to the dual-action porter cable?

Most enthusiast stick to the Porter Cable Random Orbit Polisher because it is very safe.



Rotary polishers require experience.. try searching and reading a thread about it in the Pro section...
