The short of it - walk to my car early this morning on way home from g/f's place and find 3-4 cigarette butts and some ash all over my hood.
I was able to brush everything off but one of the butts must have been laying on the back edge of my hood scoop and left a small burn mark/brown spot the size of half my pinky nail. got home and applied some Quik detailer and MF towel to the area but it won't come out.
does anyone know what else i could use to try to get it out? was thinking of getting a claybar after work and trying that.. else, am i gonna have to deal with it? i can't really apply touch up paint cuz the paint isn't etched in, merely appears "discolored" with cigarette tar. also, it does feel a tiny, tiny bit rough.
