I was wondering if you guys could give me some insight as to what is Chrome Compound, and where I can get it. I have a car bumper on a 57 Chevy that has some scratches on it, and I was told (by a professional steel plating company) to use a Porter cable and some Chrome compound then follow up with some polish and wax. I have many polishes Turtle wax/noxon/Flitz/eagle 1/ and nothing worked. I even tried some Meguiars dual action thinking the cleaning action would help. so I guess I need to go along with the plating companies advice, problem is no one I tried carries it? I googled it, nothing, auto parts stores, nothing, any ideas on this product appreciated. Thanks, G
