I sold the 96 M edition Miata. Bought a 5 speed now. :)

Miata emblem is gone, Mazda emblem is now flat black.
 
Fun car. Enjoy it! I have a co-worker that runs in the Spec Miata races around here. They are a lot of bang for the buck.

CupCate18- Ah, that looks much better now :xyxthumbs Losing the interior wood add-ons was almost as good a move as getting rid of the gold emblems...well, I guess *nothing* can compare with getting rid of those, but I'm still glad you didn't see the wood pieces as a feature.

It was a toss up between Zoe and Chloe. The bf also mentioned she should be Chloe and it was one of those names that just clicked. No real meaning to it. :) The former miata was Mia (real creative, huh?) The boy has Samantha as his Miata, and Lola is his daily, Mazda 6. All of my cars have been named, as well as many in my family. :)

The wood and gold really showed that the former owner was really old fashioned. He loves gold. Even the paper clip holding the cars paper work together was gold..... Wheels, gold, and wood are NOT my style. Now, she totally fits my personality. We also got the black floor mats in place of the ones that are the same color as the carpet. :)

Well, I do like those BBS wheels on my older Audi, but yeah....the five-spokes look good on Chloe and they'll be a lot easier to maintain.



I don't mind wood, but those two pieces looked obviously added-on, and thus tacky IMO...just like the gold badges.

Haha. I've been told to do it a few times. Not gonna happen though. It's a daily. :) No need to drop all my money on doing that.
