I had a 911 scheduled for a detail but it broke down on the way so I decided to give some TLC to my personal car. After a BRUTAL Chicago winter my M3 came out looking pretty good with minimal marring from the salt and snow. My recommendation to clients is to put on a good coat of wax and sealant in the fall with reapplication mid-winter and then wash the car only once or twice during the winter if they want the paint to come out with minimal damage come spring time. Its counterintuitive but works. My car had minimal marring and needed to be hit with a White LLC and 106FF with an Orange LLC and SIP in problem areas.

Bob, nice work how do you like the Metabo? I miss the snow and shoveling my driveway........NOT!!! You should move south enjoy the beauty of that paint more! Nice work man!

Looks real good. I really like the wheel choice. I hope to own one some day. Just needs some springs or coilovers.

Damn looks good! Do you use this as a DD in the winter?

I don't think I could live with myself if I only washed my TL once or twice... plus, with all the gunk on your paint, wouldn't it be MORE susceptible to scratching from people rubbing / brushing up on it? I know people that love to "draw" on dirty cars... damn those people!

Great job. Love that Carbon Black!

I have a DD M3 myself in Titanium Silver. Easier to maintain but not as rewarding to detail as a dark color
