Hi,

I just joined as I came across this site through another forum.

My name is Ivan and I run LUSTR Auto Detailing in Chicago. I've been doing it for a few years now and planning on turning it into a full time business as there has been much growth over the years.

I'm here to learn as well as give advice on anything I can, so...

I'm also from Chicago and have been enjoying reading the threads on this site.

I thought your name looked familar and I pulled out my issue of Autoweek dd 2/23/09 and see you were mentioned in the detailers article. Congrats!:bigups

haha thanks a lot.. that was awesome to be featured in there, even though I didn't get to be one of the lucky 3 with the column.

haha idk about famous but I am pretty honored to have been featured in there, knowing all the quality detailers across the US. Thanks!

Oh and the guy from Autoweek is sending me 5-6 issues from that week as I don't subrscribe so that was pretty cool!
 
I'm friends with Todd and he has been giving me crap because I haven't picked it up yet!

I would agree. I really enjoy his posts and you can tell he takes a lot of time to document every stage. His work is some of the best I have seen on the web. Really talented guy!

I've learned a lot from reading his posts and looking forward to using some of his techniques.
