Anybody like or dislike Sonax Spray wax?

Would like to try it for my clear coat wheels.



Any other spray waxes out there?

I have not tried either of those two products though I am sure some one else has that could post on it. If you have Klasse AIO & SG you can put it on your wheels just like you would your paint. It works great that way and makes cleaning them a whole lot easier, not to mention the protection factor:up

Have tried the Sonax liquid wax which is similiar. I prefer Klasse due to it's increased durability.

This came to me as a referral from a client on the forums. It hadn't been detailed since it was new, and definitely needed some help. This color may be great for hiding swirls and dirt, but therein lies a problem... lack of drive to do regular cosmetic maintenance. So I was called in for a quick "spruce up" for it. When I took a look at it, I asked the owner if I could spend a bit more time on it and he gave me the "OK".

The exterior was pretty straightforward. Foamed with Dawn, Rinsed, Re-foamed and Dawn wash, Clayed, and sealed with BFWD. Stoners More Shine on tires and wheel wells.

The interior was a hot mess. Sand in all the carpets, dust everywhere, makeup buildup on steering wheel, console, HVAC, radio, etc, heavily soiled leather and windows that had been licked and touched with wet noses by their dogs, and of course lots of dog hair. After over an hour of vacuuming, the long process of cleaning the leather started. Scrubbed with a gentle concentration of APC and a LOT of time they started looking good again. Leather was conditioned with Zaino Z10. Seats really soaked up the conditioner, they had a nice matte finish after a quick wipedown which was done about an hour after the final pics were taken. Onto the pics....

You can easily see the heavy grime buildup. Much time would be spent restoring this!

Lots of dog hair...

After numerous hours... the finished result of what was intended to be a basic "spruce up" detail. Owner was very pleased and has set me up with numerous referrals.

Note, pedals were cleaned after picture was taken

Awesome job Jeff, I know that GM carpet can be a real pain to get dog hair out of, or anything else for that matter.

If you don't mind me asking, what did you use to clean the leather, prior to the Zaino conditioner?

Thanks!! I used Megs APC 10:1. It was a lot of leather and the APC works great and is cost effective on nasty leather like that lol.

That was a great turn around. I can see why they were happy.

I'm doing an explorer right now that the interior is worse than that one was. They carried dogs and actually laid the back seats down and hauled hay in it.
