This is my first autopia click and brag so try and go easy on me guys.:bolt

One of the cleanest cars I've seen, its an 01 and only has 28,000 miles on it. The owner is very meticulous about his car and only hand washes it, however there was still many swirls because of improper wash/dry techniques, which surprised me because of how hard the paint was. With m105 on purple wool I was able to finish off almost LSP ready, however going over it with 106ff brought the gloss to a whole new level.

I will honestly say that I think people should take more photos like you have, you did an exceptionally fine job documenting the paintwork imperfections. Too many people just take photos of the dirty car and fail to actually show us the swirling. Big time ameteur move, it's really frustrating.

Again props on the outstanding work.

Also, that's a nice S class, S550? I'm a caretaker for one of those, crazy cool car. I got to teach the owner all the features! :D

Excellent work! looks amazing!

one question though; why the ONR after the alcohol wipe down?

The ONR wash was to remove any polish dust that accumulated, especially in the door jamb areas.

:wow: Really nice work! That color has a nice pop when you get it right like you did.

Thanks, I wish the sun was out when I took the pics so I could get better shots of the flake in the paint, the paint color looks even better in person.

Thank you, yes that is an S550 4matic, they definately have plenty of gadgets to play with.:cooleek:

I appreciate the feedback from everyone.:buffing:

Very nice. My Mom's Suburban has some swirls and stuff that are similar in their severity to the before pics you posted. I was hoping to read you corrected them with a PC though, lol, since I don't have a rotary and I'm not really comfortable trying one out yet, I'm just trying to figure out what I need to get to take them out with GM's rock hard clearcoat. But nice work. Nice depth too.
