Cherry Wet Wax

I've used it a couple of times. My guess is that it's a good "dealer prep" wax. Easy to use, looks real nice after appplication, but doesn't seem to last more than a couple of weeks.

I've used it for about a year and a half now after using Zaino for two years. As far as shine it is the absolutely best wettest shine you can have. I wax my truck every week, takes about 30 minutes, so not sure about durability. Try it, you'll never use anything else.

Welcome 00 light. You'll learn so much here.

Come from f150online right?

I think I may get some and test it out. I've read lots of stuff on it and it seems good.

Thanks and yes F150 is a board I check every day using the screen name '00BlackLightning.

Give the Cherry Wet Wax a try, I get asked all the time if I have a custom paint job because of the high gloss.

It seemed interesting until I got down their page a little more and read the copy for their sealer:

"This products special blend of detergent resistant polymers, silicone resins, and fortified with Teflon this is the Ultimate in PROTECTION."

Sorry, but I am not about to buy anything from any company that perpetuates the myth that teflon in any way improves the durability of a wax or sealant.

Hey 00 Lightning, what is your procedure for using the CWW on your black truck. Also, did you use it on the red truck in your gallery? Thank You.

CWW is not a cleaner wax.

Bumpers Plus

The procedure I follow may not work for you since I wash my truck only once or twice per year (never gets dirty enough to need a wash). I just wipe it with a California duster, Wipe it down with a wet cotton towel, the apply the wax. I use a clean cotton applicator that is slightly damp and add a few drops of CWW. This forms a slight haze that is very easy to remove. Best of all, it doesn't leave any wax dust.

This product is a soft paste wax. A combination of a mild cleaner, polymers, silicone resins, waxes and sealant. These ingredients have been carefully blended together to produce extra long lasting protection for painted or gel coat surfaces. Will leave a wet look, brilliant shine and a smooth soft, hard mirror- like depth. Formulated to be used with an orbital or by hand. Very easy to use and not dusty.

Sounds like a cleaner wax to me 00lightning.

If you apply often and on a well cared for car/truck then it will last, but for daily drivers that only see a seal/wax 3-4 times a year and once a year deep cleaning then I would stray towards a paint sealant and paste waxes.

Ghaa It is so hard to tell what stuff is in todays market. I think it is a cleaner wax from what I have heard other people say and the description makes it sound like a cleaner wax. I may order a gallon to try out. I've heard too many people say they like it.

Now, if it is a cleaner wax, then wouldn't it be bad for him to be applying it weekly? I mean, he's taking off a little bit of clear each time he polishes. It isn't a lot but doing it weekly adds up. What do you think?
