To all of you that have used Chemical Guys Extreme Slick Synthetic detailer, how do you like it? How does it compare to Finish Kare 425?

FK 425 may be a little better, but I think their new clear seal qd is better. FWIW CK QS is way better.

I bought a gallon before I joined Autopia and heard about FK 425. After I tried FK and a few others, I ended up giving my gallon of CGESSD away. Just didn't care for it.

Dogma, When you say their new clear seal qd is better are we taling about Chemical Guys or Finisk Kare. Would you please furnish the " official" name of the product.

Thank You

Its called Clear seal detailer for use on clear bras and anything else. I like it alot better than CG Syn QD and FK1, JMO.

I have tried CGs Hyper V7 (very expensive) and their Pro Detailer / P40 which is half the price. I like the Pro Detailer better. I think the Carauba Wax makes it last somewhat longer. I use the stuff like water and do a quick detail to my car two or three times a week. It is more cost effective to go with Pro Detailer.

UPDATE 4/11/11: I just used FK 425 and I really like it a lot. It doesn't streak as much as CG Pro-Detailer. At the moment, I am going to use FK 425 as my new "go-to" QD. I strongly recommend it.
