Has anyone heard of this new wax from Chemical Guys called "Black"?

Looks interesting. :D

This definitely has my interest too :)
I did see a mention of it on another site.
Apparently it has a soft consistency, but other than that I have not seen much detail.

How does a wax affect one color differently than another?
from what I understand when a wax claims this it must have fillers in it. The wax is black, it will fill in any micro scratches to make the paint look smoother and to give you a better shine.

I bet they took their Lava wax and added some black to it.

They haven't said yet. Just throwing out some stuff for hype first. they posted that on their fb wall on the 8th. So im sure within the month.

Interesting. So what happens if you use it on something that isn't black?

LOL! I wouldn't be surprised if they did!

Im not sure what would happen with wax. However I use PoorBoys World Black Hole glaze on my light colored car and it looked amazing. Says it's for dark colored cars, but it makes the darker flakes in the paint job stand out more.

bump for what happens if you use this on a non-black car considering it has black fillers?

I'm not too sure about the black fillers. My understanding is that is a wax (sealant) that has been designed to maximum the reflective characteristics of a dark colored vehicle.
