Well finally after a busy weekend I spent the day with my car. Here's the rundown.
Wash with Dawn to get rid of old stuff. NO clay though as the paint was clean.
Meg's #9 and white pad on my PC (usually use Pinnacle paint cleaner)
Meg's #81 hand polish (usually use Mother's S&G)but used my PC and a gray pad. Too lazy to do it by hand.
Pinnacle Paste Glaz (usually use Souveran)
Unfortunately no pics because my camera croaked :down
I will tell you this combo rocks. My car looks like it has a candy shell. Absolutely amazing. The #9 is self explanatory. Easy to work with and remove.
The #81 is weird. The viscosity is thin and should be applied thin otherwise it seems to get almost "gummy" and difficult to remove if you use too much. No streaking or anything you just really need to use a lot of elbow grease to get the paint clean. I used one side of a koala soft towel, wiped most of the surface but not too concerned about how much I removed, then flipped the towel to a clean side and same approach followed by a wipe with a yosteve MF......perfect.
The Paste Glaz was the easiest of all to apply and remove. Even easier than Souveran which is impressive. Definitely glad I saved the $30 or so over the Souveran. It doesn't seem as oily either.
This is my new benchmark system until something better comes along. I give it an 11 out of 10. If only my camera worked I'd be able to share my enthusiasm
