I was on Ebay the other day when I stumbled upon this little thingy majigger...

It's called Carrands Tire Dressing Applicator Brush. Only 5 Bucks. You just can't beat that with a stick!

I sprayed dressing on the bottom of the bristles and went to town.

When you first use it, you want to prime it, after that, a little goes a long way...

This brush worked amazingly. I was able to get inside the little cracks and crevices fast, I was able to get extremely close to the rim, even the bottom of the tire was easier to hit. And the best part is, no over spray and dirty hands. This is an awesome little brush...

Thanks 4 Viewing:bigups

Never even looked twice at those in the past, thinking they wouldnt work as well as an applicator sponge. You just changed my mind.
Thanks for posting OP

I think I'm in on getting one or two. Although I'm more in restoration time. (I have a brush fetish) Thanks for posting!

There isn't, I think no matter what kind of foam you use it will eventually shred and fall apart

That's unfortunate. I just got a three pack from AG. We'll see how long it lasts. If it doesn't I'll be ordering this tire applicator.

On a side note, are AG and autopia owned by the same company? I just got my order in from autopia and it had AG tape on it lol

Ok..used the Carrand Brush yesterday and I am not sure I am liking it. It just didn't seem as smooth to apply the dressing and spread as well as a standard app. I know it keeps your hands from getting dirty but maybe I am not using it properly.

^^When you first use it you need to prime it, and after that it works like a paintbrush. It may not be as fast as an applicator on smooth tires, but on textured tires this is where it shines:bigups
