hey guys I am a noob to the detailing world: here is what i got



Porter Cable 7336 from Lowes $105



From Autopia:

Sonus Detailing Clay with Glyde Lubricant

SFX1,2 for polishing

Klasse AIO

Klasse HGSG



Sonus DAS pads



303 Protectant for trim

Meguiars Plastx



I picked up some S100 (didn't want to spend 15 bucks extra for the P21S, which I've read is very very similar)



Stuff I have at home:

A lot of microfiber applicators and towels

Meguiars ScratchX

Meguiars Gold Class Paste wax

Eagle one nanowax

Eagle one tire shine

Stoners invisible glass

Armor all tire gel

Chrome polisher



What do you guys think? am I set if I clay my G35, then use sfx2 where I need it on the car, then klasse aio and 2 coats of sealant glaze, followed by a coat of s100. 303 the trim.



i plan to use sfx1 on our older cars where there is heavy oxidation.

You look real set.

I would probably polish the whole car with the Sonus #2 after washing and claying and then follow with AIO,etc. It looks as though you wanted to spot treat with the Sonus. I think you'll be happier in the long run if you polish the whole car before you AIO.
