You all know that Costco sell the Simoniz wash n wax in 5ltr for a about £7, great value for those, well, cheaper cars we sometimes valet/detail!, buts its watery consistancy meant I got poor results when trying to use it with my Gilmour foam gun. I normally use Duragloss concentrate shampoo but it works out expensive when you detail /foam a lot of cars. Anyway there was about 1 capfull of Duragloss left in the bottom of the Gilmour so I decided to fill the rest with the Simoniz, gave the whole lot a damn good shake and voila! the simoniz turned into a rich thick creamy wash n wax. Used my normal setting on the gun and was pleased with intensity of foam produced. I know you are not supposed to mix products but there were no side effects, no streaking etc and it did the job of loosening the crap off the car.
