Cheap MFs and Mass Terry Towels?

Hey everyeone

A while back I got some 20 pack of Terry Towels in a Plastic bag from Sams Club. Really cheap (like $10-$15). Just wanted to make sure these were safe.

Also, today, at Walmart, I saw some MFs, they were like 6 for $7. All I can remember is they said something like "1/20 the size of a human hair".

Im just currious if either of these are ok to use to remove product (Swirl Remover, Polish, wax, etc). :nixweiss

Be very careful with the Terry towels, they WILL scratch, you can use them for engines and dirty work but keep them off your finish. To check your MF's rub them across a CD, if they scratch it they will scratch your paint. Pakshak has some good safe MF towels and he offers a special price on them, send him a PM.

Whoa...I'd say be careful with those terry towels...mf technology is relatively new and we had some pretty awesome looking vehicle before them...they are just overall better for today's finishes..also be careful with those mf cloths...feel the seams and corners, you might just find some rough areas.

As is most things in life ..you get what you pay for...

I've posted often about bulk packs of terry towels and how they suck. I bought them early on when I didn't know any better, but now relegate them to work where "gentleness" is not a consideration. Better stuff can be found in the bath section.

Do a search for "Wal-Mart towels" or something like that. The towels you've seen have probably been discussed in the last couple months or so.

I cant remember the name of the ones at WalMart, but it was like a 5 pack. And they had a REALLY werid feel to them (different than other towels).

So does anyone acutally use stuff from the bath section? My GF just moved and got the softest washclothes from JCPEnnies, 100%.

I have been thinking about those PakShak ones. Is his PM PakShak? I was thinking about a small ammount of the small ones. I just wanted to know what the local stuff was like. I couldnt find a name brand on them anywhere, except some lab they were made at.
