Cheap MF at Wal-Mart

I just got back from Wally World and on the car care aisle they had 2 packs of microtex microfibers for 75 cents. The were avaliable in 4 colors and even though they aren't the plushest towels they would still be good for door jambs, wheels, windows, etc.

Sorry if this is in the wrong section but now that good deals is gone I didn't know where to post.

I also found some other colored towels by Microtex for $3.00. They are a 3 pack and came in purple and blue. Not bad for wheels etc. The other Microtex are def smaller and not as plush.

I bought some last week at .75..they are more or less utility towels....not any product removal towels....well I went back today to get some oil..well they marked them down to .25 for the 2 pack....I picked up 20 packs..thats 40 towels..for 5.00..but as stated....they are not the best..graded from A-D..they get the D....good on glass..door jams....engine work..or face clothes....nothing like a MF in the shower....like silk...but still a good deal....

I found these also, and at about $6.00, they are a great deal. I now have 3 of these and they are my go-to drying towels. :woot: I have tried some of the Microtex smaller ones and they are not nearly the same quality as the big ones.

I was in Florida a few weeks back (I live in England) and spotted Wal-Mart microfibres. I bought a 8 pack for a mere $6!!! I couldn't resist.

Those big blue towels are dead ringers for some pretty highly regarded towels sold at various places in smaller sizes. I think they're one of the best bargains anywhere, they're a great drying towel. One thing that makes them so fantastic is that they can blot huge areas, drying without moving the towel around on the paint.

agreed. the only microtex product i'll use is this big blue drying towel. the smaller mf's they offer aren't as nice...

Don't look now, but sometimes WalMart has the Microtex Professional Detailing Cloths, which are 16x16 and pretty similar to those highly regarded towels also.

yes, I picked up 2 packs of 3 awhile back for really cheap. Very close to the quality of Pak Shak's towels. Mine were a bright orange. Went back to get some more and they didn't have them anymore and haven't seen them since in my area.
