cheap lightning to show paind defects?

Good light that will show defects, like scrathes and so on... not too expensive too, if posible

to me if i cant see any swirls in the direct sun then it good for me lol.

i do use a clamp type light with a 100w bulb and i does do a good job of showing defects.\

if i got a bigger light i would drive my self crazy with the swirls butmy ride are mostly swirl free.

+1 although I use a ~$20 one (incandescent trouble light) from Lowe's. I find that incandescents generally show marring *better* than my Brinkman, though all kinds of light can have their uses in this regard.
