Cheap find on griots Pfm drying towel

So I was adding some gift cards to my amazon account today that I got for the bday and something caught my eye in the reccomend purchase box.

The griots Pfm towel full size priced at 4 bucks with 6 bucks for shipping = 10 total. I might never see the towel show up and it might be the incorrect item but at that price I took a gamble on 2 of them.

I will update with the goods when the box comes in towards the end of the month.

U guys do realize it`s a scam riught ?

With the new *sellers* alternatives - not amazon direct, it`s the new Ebay for scams....

Scam.. As in you don`t get any towel? Or scam, and you get a cheap Chinese knockoff?

FYI, thanks for making me aware of theses alternative sellers. I had no idea they wer so shady.

Good luck to the guys that ordered.

U get fake tracking...then the game plays out, then you need to dispute, etc, etc.

It`s simply common sense at the end of the day literally.
If someone is selling a Griots G21 or Rupes Mark II for 1/10 of the average selling price, would you would not think "twice"....

I did state that I might never get a towel or the correct one to show up. I willing to have 20 bucks in limbo personally.

It might cause some minor back and forth with Amazon but I will get my money back if I never get the goods.

I bought 3 at that price and got a notice that they were shipped today. If they are really Griots PFM towels it`s a great deal, if they are knockoffs I will get what I paid for. Lol

My disputes with Amazon have been quickly handled with one email. Luckily I`ve never had a problem. Their customer service is almost as good as Autopias, in my experience.

I`m on the same page re: Amazon Customer Service.
Kinda like buying a item from ~amazon warehouse~ in which the used condition could be quite questionable.
That I will buy occasionally depending on the item and price...

But buying know full well you`re buying into a scam, knowing said *purchaser - being me* ultimately will need to dispute it, trivial at best for me.

i just checked amazon again and the price is now listed as 24.99. sounds like an original price error was corrected. i`ll let you know if mine come in.

Taro Racing is a legitimate seller and always has Griots stuff....

The OP for that particular seller is what this thread is about...

Depending on the item you buy from amazon, EVEN if it is fulfilled via Prime but the seller is not Amazon, I THINK thoroughly about buying from a 3rd party fulfilled by Item. It`s a varying gauge and it really DEPENDS on the item being sold. SOOOOO many fakes out there. 90% of my purchases are from Amazon (the seller direct). If there is net saving of 20% by going with a different seller, I`m game, but that really depends on the item being purchased.

Weird eccentric stuff, cheap PRC stuff, yes, ordering from 3rd party on Amazon is fine.
Rock botttom pricing on generally MAP priced items, you know it`s a scam.
When you see in the item description, where the price is really cheap , and in the details, it says email me at cheappfmtowels@gmail.com, it`s a scam.

Just common sense guys....

The original seller was from Vietnam and the towels are made in Vietnam maybe he got a suitcase full from a relative to help pay for his trip to Colorado.
