I know you were near to the tornados that hit last night. Hope all is well with with family and friends.

Take care.

Hey guys, sorry I didn't see this earlier, business this past week has been hectic. I am doing fine, the tornados were about 50 miles southeast of me; in fact we didn't have even a single drop of rain here.

Reports out of Dexter, MI say that at least 100 homes were damaged and 13 were destroyed. Thankfully though, there were no injuries or fatalities. By far one of the most bizarre things I've ever seen happen in Michigan. Hopefully all of those who lost everything will be able to recover.

Thank you for your concern, guys. Hope all is well with you as well. :yourrock

I've been watching the devastation and it's heartbreaking to say the least. I feel really bad for those folks and wish there were more that folks could do to help...

Glad you're OK Charlie! :bigups

Glad to hear all is well. Prayers are with those affected. Our news was saying Lansing area. This has been a crazy spring. Being this warm this early up here is dangerous.

Interesting; all of the storms were in the Ann Arbor and Flint areas, so I'm not sure why they'd say Lansing area. Oh well. There is a lot of assistance headed into the areas that sustained damage, so hopefully people's lives can be put back on track as soon as possible.

Definitely has been a crazy spring/early-summer (yet officially, it's still winter!). Everyone keeps talking about how we're going to have to pay for the mild winter eventually, and it seems the severe weather issues are how we're now paying. I just hope the trend doesn't continue into the summer months.

Our local news has a bad habit to generalize in the breaking news department. "it happened here, near this, this, and this city.
