Some pure ego-stroking here! Been to a couple of cars shows lately with the 2002tii.

In May I won Peoples Choice Award in the BMW Club German Maifest event in downtown St. Louis. A nice little show among some historic buildings with German Restaurant and BIG steins of beer!

In June I won 1st place overall for BMW's in the St. Louis European Auto Show. This is the largest Euro car show in St. Louis so I am pretty excited. It was a beautiful day with over 200 cars participating. Best of show, BTW, was a beautiful Ferrari F40. Really rare!

Wow! That is so cool! When I was a kid growing up I'd fantasize about having a new 2002 as an adult. Of course by the time I became an adult, those cars were no longer made. :D

Glad to see a picture of you as well. Now I know who you are!

Congrats!!!!

Kudos- that's one of my favorite BMW's (635i 2nd) geat to see your efforts recognised :)

Congrats! I'm sure being autopian helps when it comes to having the nicest car at the show!

Brad congratulations. That tii is a beauty. From one German car nut to another - they don't make they like they used to. Sure they are more rust proof but some of the soul is gone... I love the old German Custom's (Zoll) plate, too.

Thanks for all the compliments, guys! I've been pretty lucky!

Luck? HAHAHA.... many of us here know better than that. :LOLOL

I fully expect wins like this from your 100% perfect 2002. Personally, I am surprised BMW AG has not seized your car and flown it back to the Fatherland for a detailed inspection. The Germans love this kind of perfection. :lol

LOL! I appreciate the kind words. Actually, I wish der Fatherland would take it back and send me one with air conditioning! It's getting hot here in the Midwest!

Congrats Brad... getting recognized for your car is a great feeling! I know... I've won four awards for my Mustang.
