CG Synthetic QD same as FK1 425

I doubt it's the same. The guy that started FK1 was one of the Maguair's family members that became unhappy with the way his family was doing business. The story goes that he himself was a pretty gifted chemist, and that he hired additional chemists to formulate everything in his product line. He has since passed away, though, so I guess it's possible that the new management is borrowing products from other places. If it's the same stuff, they've at least changed the color.

I'm not an expert detective- but just from reading the FK website - I doubt they get anything from CG - IMHO.

agreed, and if anything it would be the other way around...

I highly doubt that . FK does mfg. their own products/chemistry . I chemical plant may make it for them but not what I was told. Chemical plants such as CG/Warner Chemical (same company I believe) make a lot of products. You would be surprised how many of these boutique products are made by the same mfg's or other mgr's . it would probably change your whole outlook on products. We have a chemical plant here and my X wife works at a chemical plant ( both specialize in automotive ) and products are usually mixed to customers spec's are chemist spec's and manufactured from there. Not a bad thing it is a speciality thing and cost a lot of money for manufacturing, hence the farming out of manufacturing as with many , many other products outside the wax/automotive industry. If the stuff works and you like it , who cares who mfg's it.

Also I've had the CG synthetic and have FK 425 , not the same thing IMO. Not even close to me.
