CG compound remove Orange Peel?

I was looking at chemical guys site and reading about their compounds and this is what they state for their medium compound:



"CGC-2 – Medium Duty Compound –formulated using mild and medium abrasives. Formulated to remove medium to heavier orange peel, scratches and blemishes"



Could this be true that their compound can remove medium to heavy orange peel? My understanding was wetsanding was the only way to remove orange peel. :nixweiss Has anyone tried this compound yet?

JJ's used the medium cut compound, and lemme tell ya, there is no way it is going to take out OP. Personally, I'd wetsand to take it out, but if you're feeling lucky, an extreme cut leveler (top of the line sells one, or Meg's Diamond Cut 2.0) and a wool cutting pad will do the trick.

If it doesnt remove orange peel wonder why they would claim it does...unless their concept of orange peel is different from mine.

I have a whole gallon of the medium compound and it does not remove OP. Send me a small bottle and a few bucks for shipping and you can try some for yourself. Works as well and smells as nice as SSR 2. In fact, I think it is SSR 2! But that's ah' story for a different day!!
