Ceramic Coatings on Motorcycles.

I have a friend that wants his bike coated. I have CSL laying around. Can it be used on the chrome or would that not be a good idea. I want to figure out how ling the bike is going to take. Since he has a few friends that will want the same thing done on theirs. I didn`t plan on putting it on the exhaust or engine/trans, but was wondering for the chrome around the forks and rear seat.

I`ve done a couple of bikes. I think it`s been McKee`s 37 coating in both cases.

My son dropped his bike in our drive when he was starting out. He gouged the crap out of the fairing as the bike scraped along the pavement. I was able to completely hide the majority of the scrapes with Essence. You`d never see it unless I pointed out the area. I was quite surprised by this result.

For bikes I like to do a very thorough prep and decontamination process. Then I hit all the chrome and wheels using hydro2. Then polish and coat the paint with CSL. Works like a charm.
