Ceramic coating safe tar remover

A large highway is getting resurfaced and since it`s here in Hawaii it`s taking forever. I got lots of splatters on road tar on my gyeon pure evo coated truck. What are some products I can use to remove it? I can get most of it off with washing but it takes some effort. Anything safe for the coating that will make it easier?

Every Spring for a number of years one of my “de-wintering” steps was to hose the entire car down with Gyeon Tar, agitate & rinse. Never hurt the ceramic and in fact was very effective at peeling the effects of Winter road goo off of the paint, restoring the ceramics goodness.

As with anything, YMMV.
